G&L Ascari GTS
Summary: The G&L Ascari GTS has a set-neck construction, dual coil-tappable humbuckers, a TonePros tailpiece, and a 24 3/4" scale length. It has a Mahogany body with a bound Maple top. This guitar has been setup by our inhouse tech, and it plays great and sounds amazing.
Body: Mahogany with a bound Maple top.
Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, 12” radius 22 frets, pearl block inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: G&L AS4255C humbucker (neck position)/ G&L AW4368C humbucker (bridge position), master volume/master tone controls with push/pull on the tone knob, closed gear tuning keys, Tone-Pros locking C-TPFP bridge and CT1 tailpiece.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great condition. It has light surface scratches and light buckle rash on the back.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
