Summary: Red Series guitars combine many years of know-how and state-of-the-art technology. In their production, Furch Guitars uses premium, master grade materials, which, with the help of precise production procedures and maximum attention to detail, transforms them into beautiful-sounding instruments with a clear and balanced sound. They achieve excellent sound quality using their innovative voicing process of the top and back plates and resonance enhancing Full-Pore High-Gloss finish, which simultaneously accentuates the grain of the exclusive wood. The overall look of the Red Series is underscored by a wide range of attractive decorative elements, led by an annular rosette and body, fingerboard and headstock binding made of precious Koa. The Red Deluxe models also include the ergonomic Bevel Duo feature, which significantly increases comfort during extended play. Protection of each premium Red Series instrument is ensured by a high-quality, thermally insulated Hiscox case.
Body: Master Grade Sitka Spruce top/Master Grade Indian Rosewood back & sides, Koa bevel, Koa binding, Abalone purfling.
Neck: African Mahogany with a figured Ziricote fingerboard, 1.75” nut width, 25 9/16” scale length, 15 3/4” radius, Furch soft “V” profile, Pearl Roman Numeral inlays, Tusq nut, Full-Pore Smooth-Slide Satin Finish with antibacterial additive.
Pickups/Hardware: Gotoh 510 silver patina 1:21 Ratio tuning keys, Full-Pore High-Gloss finish, Anti-scratch transparent pickguard, CNR System with dual-action adjustment truss rod, LR Baggs Anthem Stage Pro pickup system with Anthem Tru-Mic and Element undersaddle pickup.
Cosmetics: This guitar is immaculate. It shows very little signs of use; it plays and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 12’s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
