Summary: The “Blackie” is one of Fenders most enduring & acclaimed signature series guitars of all time. The Eric Clapton signature guitar entails a classic design with special features & true Fender tone. First introduced in the 1980s, today's Eric Clapton Strat has been updated with three Vintage Noiseless pickups, which work in conjunction with both a powerful active midrange boost and Fender TBX tone circuitry to create one of the most versatile guitars in the Fender catalog.

Body: Alder finish in a Black gloss.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, 22 frets, black dot inlays, soft “V” shape that gets rounder as you go up the neck.

Pickups/Hardware: Three Noiseless single coil pickups, TBX tone circuit, vintage style tuning keys, five-way pickup selector, white single-ply pickguard, master volume/two tone controls, six-saddle vintage style tremolo system.

Cosmetics: This guitar has light surface scratches on the body and pickguard. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets are in great shape. Overall, this guitar is in great shape, and it plays very well.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10’s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
