Summary: The Ibanez JS100 is the Joe Satriani signature guitar that has been produced for the longest time. Introduced in 1994 and was sold for 20 years until 2014 when the JS140 came up. It has two Axis humbuckers, medium frets, retained the coil tap that features on every JS guitar. Its neck also has white pearloid dot inlays like the JS1. The tremolo evolved through the years. It started with a Lo TRS II for 8 years. In 2003 Ibanez factories put an Edge Pro II on it, until in 2007 where the Edge III replaced it and it still features that today. This guitar has been played and still sounds great.

Body: Solid basswood, double cutaway, black gloss finish.

Neck: Maple with a rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 22 medium frets, 1 5/8” nut width, pearloid dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Two Ibanez Axis humbucking pickups, Ibanez chrome die-cast tuning keys, master volume, master tone (with coil tapping option via push/pull), 3-way pickup selector, locking tremolo system, knurled metal dome knobs.

Cosmetics: This guitar has one minor ding on the top of the body (see photos). The top of the body as some scratches in the finish. The back of the body has scratches and buckle rash. There is one ding on the back of the body. The back of the headstock and the back of the neck have some small dings that do not affect playability. The locking mechanisms at the nut are missing.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
