Summary: With a construction that transmits the vibrations of the strings to the body more effectively, and a sustain plate embedded directly into the body below the saddle, the SG2000S offers superb sustain. The pickups have individually adjustable pole pieces and are also tri mounted. Three machine screws let you adjust each pickups height and align it parallel to the strings for optimum pickup performance. Clean, functional design with deep double cutaways provides easy access to even the highest notes.

Body: Mahogany with a bound Maple top, gloss Sunburst finish.

Neck: Neck through construction, Mahogany with a bound Ebony fingerboard, 24.75” scale length. 1 11/16” nut width, 22 frets, pearl inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Two Yamaha humbuckers, gold Yamaha Japan tuning keys, brass sustain plate beneath bridge/engraved harp tailpiece, gold control knobs, black pickguard (gold pickguard included), gold hardware.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and some buckle rash on the back. The pickguard has regular wear. The back of the neck is clean and smooth, and the frets show minimal wear.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
