2000 Fender Stevie Ray Vaughn Stratocaster
Summary:
This SRV Stratocaster is in fabulous shape and has just been setup
and restrung with a new set of 10s. It ships in its original tweed
hard-shell case with orange plush interior but no whammy bar
unfortunately. It has a nice chunky neck with a Pau Ferro fretboard,
the pickups sound phenomenal and the gold hardware looks wonderful.
Body: Stratocaster body with 3 tone sunburst finish and 3 ply black/white/black pickguard with SRV engraving.
Neck: Nice chunky maple neck with pau ferro fingerboard, white dots, bone nut, 25.5” scale length and 1 5/8” nut width.
Pickups/Hardware: 3 single-coil pickups, 5 way switch, 1 volume, 2 tones, gold hardware, bent steel saddles and reversed synchronized trem.
Cosmetics: This Strat is in beautiful shape and was likely cherished as a collectable rather than a player. The only signs of use are a fair amount of pick scratches on the pickguard and some light scratches on the top and back.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
