Cort Joe Beck Signature Archtop Jazz Box with Original Hardshell Case
Summary: This Cort Archtop is a Joe Beck signature guitar, features unique “cats eye” F-holes, 2 humbucker pickups, single cutaway and bound rosewood fingerboard. It has just been setup and restrung with a new set of flatwound strings. The action is set low, the fretwork on this guitar is very good and it plays wonderfully. It ships in a hardshell case. This one was even signed by Joe Beck in 1999. Body: The fully-hollow archtop guitar has a depth of 2 7/8”, is 16 5/8” across the lower bout, is fully bound in multi-ply w/b/w binding, has a single cutaway, cats eye F-holes, high gloss sunburst finish and Joe Beck signature on the back. Neck: The set neck is maple, it has a slim C profile, bound rosewood fingerboard, 24 3/4” scale length and 1.69” nut width. Pickups/Hardware: It has 2 humbuckers, 3 way toggle, 2 volumes, 2 tones, black knurled knobs, floating bridge with ebony base and tune-o-matic top. It also has a chrome plated tailpiece and closed back tuners with pearloid buttons. Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent shape with minor pick scratching on the top, light scratches around the body only visible if you hold it in the right light and a bit of fretwear on the first few frets. Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 11 gauge flatwounds. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with only minor wear from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out. Weight: 6 lbs, 12 oz.
