Eastman T146SM-SB Vintage Sunburst with Original Hardshell Case
Summary: This Eastman hollowbody archtop is a spectacular player. The craftsmanship, fit and finish is second to none in this price point and the electronics and materials are top quality. It ships in its original hardshell case, is in excellent used condition, has an upgraded humbucker sized Lollar Charlie Christian pickup, Gotoh tuning machines and ebony bridge. It is strung up with Thomastik-Infeld flat wound strings and setup low and comfortable.
Body: It has a thin hollow body with single cutaway, solid spruce top with solid maple back and sides, ivoroid w/b/w binding and sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
Neck: It has a 3 piece maple neck with traditional C carve, bound ebony fingerboard with 12” radius, 20 Medium Jumbo Jescar 47104-P frets, 1 3/4” nut width and 25” scale length.
Pickups/Hardware: It has an upgraded Lollar Charlie Christian pickup, volume, tone, ebony floating bridge, gold Gotoh tuning machines, ebony pickguard with ivoroid binding and ebony tailpiece.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in phenomenal used condition with very little wear to mention. There are some minor dings around the body, some light pick scratches on the top and a couple small scuffs. The very tip of the end of the headstock has the tiniest bit of wear.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of flatwound strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
