Summary: This 1978 Telecaster Custom is in great shape, plays great and has just been inspected, setup and restrung by our in-house guitar tech with low action and a new set of 10s. The original Seth Lover designed Wide Range Humbucker has a warm fullness and clarity that balances well with the bright tone from the bridge pickup. It ships in a vintage hard-shell case with brown plush interior and vintage style strap.

Body: Solid ash body with natural finish and large black pickguard.

Neck: The maple neck has a great full profile with some figure in the grain, original frets that are still in great shape, bullet truss rod function as it should and 3-bolt attachment with neck tilt, F stamped tuners, 25 ½” scale length and 1.6” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: Original hardware, wide range humbucker in the neck, single coil in the bridge, 6 saddle bridge, 2 volumes, 2 tones and 2 string trees.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent shape save for some cloudiness in the finish in a few spaces and some wear through the arm rest area. The finish is chipping a bit in that area and has a milky white color where it’s delaminating. The rest of the guitar is nearly blemish free with the exception of a few very minor nicks and dings and some scratches on the pickguard from picking and some wear through the fingerboard edge.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The original frets are in great shape with some minor grooves from use but it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
