Summary: This vintage Gibson is a fantastic player with some nice patina and weather checking. The original tuners were changed to high quality Schallers and the original vibrato unit was removed. It has just been inspected and setup by our in house guitar tech and plays great with low action, straight neck and a new set of 10 gauge strings. It ships in a vintage case that has been tastefully painted.

Body: Solid double cutaway mahogany body with sunburst finish and one ply black pickguard.

Neck: Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dots, 25.75” scale length and 1.65” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: 2 single coil pickups, 2 volume, 2 tones, 4 gold knobs, Schaller tuners, wraparound bridge and nylon nut.

Cosmetics: There’s plenty of finish checking, holes in the body and a cut in the pickguard from where the vibrato was mounted, some normal nicks and dings, some paint touch up on a few of the dents on the sides of the body and edges of the headstock, some chips in the finish around the edges of the fingerboard, some shallow scuffs in the finish on the neck and a fair amount of fretwear.

Playability: Our in house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets have a fair amount of grooves and divots from use but it still plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or chocking out.

Modifications: Changed tuners, removed vibrato unit.

Weight: 6 lbs, 2 oz.

Case: It comes with a vintage case which has been painted & we will ship it professionally packed and fully insured!
