Summary: This Burny Super Grade Les Paul is a Japanese made copy from the 80’s. These are highly regarded for their excellent build quality. PAF style tones and close replication to the famed ’59 burst. This Burny has a new handcrafted bone nut and was just setup and restrung with a new set of 10-gauge strings. It is a fantastic player and ships in an aftermarket vintage Epiphone case.

Body: Mahogany Les Paul body with a maple cap.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a fully bound rosewood fingerboard. 22 frets, pearloid trapezoidal inlays, 24.5” scale length and 1.6875” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: This guitar has two PAF style humbuckers, a three-way toggle, and two volume and two tone knobs. It has Grover Deluxe keystone style tuning keys.

Cosmetics: On the back of the neck, around the fourth fret, there are some small dings. There are some small dings on the top of the headstock. There is some light buckle rash on the back of the body with some small dings in the finish around the back edge of the body. There are some very small dings in the finish on the front of the body. The frets are in great shape with only small divots on the first five frets.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Modifications: The bridge has been moved forward for better intonation and filled in with dowels. You can barely notice this work. It has a handcrafted bone nut.
