Vintage Yamaha RBX-200 4-string Fretless Bass Guitar
Summary: This yellow beast is a Yamaha RBX 200! Someone has converted it to fretless and disengaged the tone pot. It has a fresh set of D'addario flatwounds on it and was just setup by our in house guitar tech. This is a lightweight player with tons on wear and tear but it sounds and plays really well! Body: Lightweight solid body with yellow finish. Neck: It has a 34” scale neck with black finish and converted fretless rosewood fingerboard. Pickups/Hardware: It has a P-bass pickup and volume, the tone pot is disengaged but left on the guitar. It has the original chrome Yamaha tuners and chrome adjustable bridge. Cosmetics: This bass has tons of nicks, dings, scratches and finish chips all over it. This is one road worn bass! There is a sticker on the bottom side, scratches all over the edges, some tarnishing on the hardware, finish cracks by the output jack, chips in the fingerboard around the frets where they were pulled out, scratches up the back of the neck and chips in the finish on the edges. This bass made it through the '80s with some scars but it looks and functions great! Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this bass with a new set of flatwound strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. Weight: 7 lbs, 7 oz. Case: There is no case but we will ship it professionally packed and fully insured!
