2022 Fender American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass

This 2022 Fender American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass features a comfortable U shape hard rock maple neck, and it plays like a dream with a 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard and vintage tall frets. Characteristic of production in 1966, this J-Bass is offered with white neck binding, pearl dots, two volume controls with master tone, and 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard. The 4-saddle bridge with threaded saddles, vintage-style lollipop tuners and Pure Vintage '66 Jazz Bass pickups deliver classic thump and style.

Body:  Alder in Vintage Sea Foam Green finish.

Neck: Maple  with a Rosewood fingerboard, 34” scale length, 1.5” nut width, 20 frets, white dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Fender Pure Vintage '66 Jazz Bass single coil pickups, Fender Pure Vintage lollipop tuning keys, Pure Vintage 4-Saddle with threaded steel saddles bridge, black plastic knobs, bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has very light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has very light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
