Summary: This 1979 Fender Stratocaster in gorgeous Sienna Burst is the quintessential electric guitar—a worldwide archetype; the basic form that leaps to mind at the very mention of the phrase electric guitar. Maybe that’s because it was so well designed to start with that it has existed largely unchanged for 60 years now. This 1979 Fender Stratocaster is in excellent vintage condition, easy to play, and it sounds fantastic.


Body: Alder in Sienna Burst finish.

Neck:  Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 21 frets, black dots inlays.


Pickups/Hardware: 3 Fender single coil pickups, Fender Sealed “F” tuning keys,  Fender tremolo bridge, white plastic knobs, bone nut.


Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and small indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.


Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
