1989 Ibanez 540R Radius Jewel Red

Body: Basswood body with Jewel Red finish.

Neck: Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard, 16” radius, 25.5” scale length, 1.693” nut width, 22 frets, pearl-dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Ibanez USA pickups, Gotoh SG38 machine head tuning keys, bridge, master volume and tone controls with 5-way switch, locking nut.

Modifications: One of the control knobs is newer but matches the other.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in good condition overall. It has light surface scratches on the top and back of the body. There are a few dings on the top and back of the guitar and some wear around the tremolo cavity. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show some wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been set-up low and comfortable.

Weight: 7 lbs. 6 oz.

Case: This guitar ships with a bag, tremolo arm, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
