1997 Fender U.S. Strat Ultra
Summary: This 1997 Fender U.S. Strat Ultra is the ultimate in strat versatility. Multiple Fender Lace Sensor combinations and some special switching provide for a ultra wide sonic palette, with beautiful appointments like flamed maple Crimson Burst finish and a sweet TBX tone knob complete this sweet instrument.
Body: Alder with Highly Figured Maple Top and Back in Crimson Burst finish.
Neck: Maple with a Ebony Fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 22 frets, white pearloid dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Fender Lace Sensor Single-Coil pickups (Blue & Gold), Fender Lace Sensor "Dually" (Red) pickup, Deluxe Staggered Cast/Sealed Locking tuning keys, 6-Saddle Deluxe Fender Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo bridge, Master Volume, Tone 1 (Neck Pickup), Tone 2 TBX (Middle/Bridge Pickups), white plastic knobs, missing 3 screws from the backplate, roller nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and small indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. There is some finish flaking near the nut, and again at the end of the fretboard. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets have minimal wear, with lots of life left.
