This 2012 Fender Modern Player Marauder continues the great my-first-Fender tradition, with thoroughly modern features and several distinctively unconventional new takes on Fender’s most revered instruments by offering an entry-level instrument of remarkable style and substance (like the legendary Duo-Sonic, Mustang,and Musicmaster.)
Body: Koto in Lake Placid Blue finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.65” nut width, 22 frets, white dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Bridge : Fender Triplebucker pickup, Neck: Modern Player Jazzmaster pickup: Fender vintage style tuning keys, 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge, Fender vintage style black plastic Jazz Bass knobs, synthetic bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has very light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has very light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
