Summary: This 2011 Gretsch G5122 features a laminated maple hollow body with double cutaway, Maple set neck with 22 medium-jumbo frets on a Rosewood fretboard with pearloid neo-classic thumbnail inlays and a forgiving 24.5” scale length. Rosewood-based adjusto-matic bridge, Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece and Gretsch humbucking pickups. vintage-style open-back tuners help channel all the vintage vibes with this semi-hollow. 

 

Body:  Laminated Maple in a gloss red Walnut finish.


Neck:  Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.5” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 22 frets, Neo-classic thumbnail  inlays.

 

Pickups/Hardware: Dual Gretsch humbucking pickups, chrome G-Arrow knobs. chrome B60 Bigsby, chrome adjusto-matic bridge, chrome Stat-Tite type open tuning gear, bone nut.

 

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has very light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has very light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.



Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
