1960's Harmony H45 Stratotone

Summary: This 1960's Harmony H45 Stratotone has a hollow body chamber that delivers that great Stratotone resonance. It has a single tone and volume control and has the Stratatone special slide-switch on the mounting plate that gives you, as the original catalogue stated... 'quick change from bass emphasis used for rhythm to treble emphasis used for take-off or solo playing'.

Body: Birch top, back and side in Vintage Sunburst finish.

Neck:  Maple with an ebonized fingerboard,  24” scale length, 1.75” nut width, 20 frets, pearloid dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: DeArmond  “Hershey Bar” pickup, 3 in line tuning keys, wooden bridge, white plastic knobs, bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and small indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back of the headstock has a good ding in it that does not affect playability. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
