Summary: Featuring Guild’s iconic double-cutaway Starfire body shape, this Starfire VI has a beautiful Walnut finish with a maple top, back, and sides, and a solid center block. Dual humbucker pickups, offer a range of tones well-suited for a variety of playing styles and genres. The Starfire VI has a three-piece maple/walnut/maple neck and a bound ebony fingerboard inlaid with mother-of-pearl and abalone V-blocks. It also features a fully adjustable bridge, and comes adorned with gold hardware, 5-ply black and ivory purfling, deluxe f-hole and body binding, and a Guild harp Tailpiece.

Body: Double cutaway Starfire style, laminated construction.

Neck: Three-piece Maple/Walnut/Maple construction, Ebony fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, 22 frets, Mother-of-Pearl inlays with Abalone V-blocks.

Pickups/Hardware: Dual Guild humbuckers, Grover tuning keys, fully adjustable bridge, black “Guild” pickguard with logo, 2x volume/2x tone controls/master volume/3-way pickup selector (main volume and tone controls wired backwards), Guild “G” harp tailpiece, “SF-6” truss rod cover.

Cosmetics: This guitar has wear that is consistent with a vintage guitar from the early ‘70s. The gold hardware has tarnished a bit. The Walnut finish has some light checking on the body. The finish on the binding around the fingerboard has worn off and the binding has started to crack in areas. The back of the neck also has light finish checking. This guitar has some light dings and dents and surface scratches throughout. There is light finish checking around the input jack. Overall, this guitar is in great shape and plays and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
