Summary: The Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster electric guitar, part of Fender's popular Artist Series, gives the guitar of one of rock's most famous guitarists new life. Modeled after Clapton's '50s Strat, this first run of Clapton Strat sports the same design, including Lace Sensor "Gold" pickups, an active mid boost knob, and a special blocked tremolo fashioned to Clapton's specifications. The Eric Clapton Stratocaster was designed, and designed well, for the ultimate fan.

Body: Solid Alder with a bolt-on neck joint, finished in a Pewter Grey Metallic gloss.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fretboard, black dot inlays, bone nut, 22 frets, soft “V” shape.

Pickups/Hardware: Three “Gold” Lace Sensor single coil pickups, vintage style tuning keys, original tremolo arm, blocked synchronized tremolo system, master volume/two tone controls, five-way pickup selector, midrange boost circuit, single-ply pickguard and back cover.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has some light surface scratches on the body. There is one small dent on the edge of the body near the bottom strap button (See Photos Please). The pickguard has regular pick wear. The hardware has started to tarnish a bit. The frets show very little signs of wear. The back of the neck is smooth and in excellent condition. Overall, this guitar has been cared for and is in excellent condition for being 33 years old.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10’s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
