Summary: The Gibson Nighthawk Standard features a neck through body, M-Series Mini Humbucker/NSX Single Coil/Humbucker pickup configuration, coil-tapping, flame maple top, and a bound fretboard with split parallelogram inlays. The pickups are the main feature of this guitar, with a push pull knob at the tone knob that changes a number of combinations around. In the up (pulled) position, the pickups are configured in the normal Strat style wiring: B, BM, M, MN, N, allowing you to essentially cover all S-Type tones. When the tone knob is down, however, the wiring gets considerably more diverse: With selections on both humbuckers and single coils in both inside and outside coil selections.
Body: Mahogany body with three-tone-sunburst finish on a flame maple cap.
Neck: Mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard adorned with split parallelogram inlays, 12” radius, 25.5” scale length, 1.6” nut width, 22 frets.

Pickups/Hardware: M-Series Mini Humbucker/NSX Single Coil/Humbucker pickups, Gibson branded keystone tuning keys, individual saddle bridge, 5 way switch, gold and nickel hardware throughout.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. It has light surface scratches and small indentations throughout, along with a few dings. The frets are in great shape and show light wear. Overall, this guitar has light wear and plays great.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
