Summary: Since 1954, the Stratocaster has been a Holy Grail model that many guitarists aspire to own one day, taking their place beside Buddy Holly, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Johnson, and John Frusciante. This Mexican made Stratocaster, built in 1998, plays very well and sounds fantastic. The pickups and hardware are all original.

Body: Alder with an Olympic White finish.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.6875” nut width, 21 frets, black dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Three single coil pickups, master volume/2x tone controls/5-way pickup selector, white pickguard, Fender closed gear tuning keys, individual saddles.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches, and the pickguard has regular wear. The fingerboard has some deeper wear on the first two frets. The saddles have rusted slightly. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show light wear on the high strings.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Weight: 7.72 lbs.

Case: This guitar ships without a case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
