2019 Fender Player Jazzmaster
Summary: With a fat, thick sound all its own and sleek, elegant style, the Player Jazzmaster stands out under the spotlight. It’s an inspiring instrument with a flexible, authentic Fender tone—a voice that works with any kind of music. This Jazzmaster comes equipped with two humbuckers and plays and sounds fantastic.
Body: Alder with a gloss Buttercream finish.
Neck: Maple with a Pau Ferro fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 9.5” radius, 1.650” nut width, modern “C” shape, white dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Player Series Alnico 2 Humbucking pickups, synthetic bone nut, Vintage-Style Floating Tremolo with Tremolo Lock Button and Push-In Tremolo Arm, 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Adjustable bridge with “Floating” Tremolo Tailpiece, master volume/tone controls, 3-way pickup selector, push/pull on the tone knob for coil splitting, standard cast/sealed tuning keys. 3-ply black pickguard.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has regular pick wear on the pickguard. The body has very light surface scratches that can be seen in a reflection. The back of the neck is clean, and smooth and the frets are in great shape.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
