Summary: This 2022 Gibson Explorer captures the magic with precisely tailored, time-tested tones, including a nitro finish, Orange Drop capacitors, Burstbucker humbucker pickups, and an overall design that can be traced to the Explorer’s 1958 debut. The Explorer’s masterful construction comprises premium tonewoods, a Slim Taper neck, a 22-fret range across its 24.75-inch scale, and a 12-inch radius on its rosewood fingerboard. Body: Mahogany in gloss Antique Natural finish.
Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.69” nut width, 22 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Gibson calibrated Burstbucker 2 (neck) and Burstbucker 3 (bridge), Grover Kidney Bean tuning keys, aluminum Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar, black speed knobs, Graph Tech nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has the lightest wear on the body a used guitar can have. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
