2023 Gibson Custom Shop Wildwood Spec CS-336 Figured Maple Top

Summary: This Gibson CS Wildwood ES-336 was a collaboration with Wildwood Guitars Gibson Custom Shop, the Wildwood Spec CS-336. Unlike its ES brethren, the CS-336 sports solid woods, with a premium mahogany body and a solid maple top . Wildwood Custom Bucker pickups capture the sound of these incredible tonewoods, and the result is a punchy guitar with incredible note bloom, a rich midrange, a sweet attack, and a vibe that harkens back to some of our favorite vintage instruments.

Body:  Mahogany with a figured Maple top in a Natural gloss finish. 

Neck:  Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard,  24.75” scale length,  1.687” nut width, 22 frets,  pearl dot inlays.  1st Fret Width: 1.67 -12th Fret Width: 2.03 - 1st Depth: .83 - 12th Depth: .95

Pickups/Hardware:  Wildwood Custom Bucker pickups, Grover Deluxe tuning keys,   tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, top hat bell knobs, bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the pickguard, and one miniscule dent in the top, almost impossible to capture even in reflection. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
