1960's Epiphone FT-30 Caballero
Summary: The Epiphone FT-30 Caballero was a small body flat top acoustic, made at Gibson's Kalamazoo plant alongside its Gibson-equivalent model, the LG-0. It has a mahogany top, back, and sides with a satin finish, a one-piece mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers, and 20 frets.
Body: Mahogany top/back/sides.
Neck: Mahogany with Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 20 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Replacement Kluson Deluxe tuning keys, tortoise pickguard with three screws, adjustable bridge, “E” truss rod cover.
Cosmetics: This guitar has wear that is consistent with a guitar from the 1960’s. It has tons of finish checking and various nicks dings and scuffs. The action is a little high and there is a very small amount of bridge lift. It still plays well on the first few frets and sounds great.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings.
Modifications: The tuning keys have been replaced with Kluson Deluxe tuning keys.
Weight: 4.1 lbs.
Case: This guitar ships in a chipboard case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
