1966 Neck/1989 MIJ Fender Telecaster Partscaster
This 1966 Neck/1989 MIJ Fender Telecaster Partscaster is a wonderful amalgamation of eras, resulting in a delightful playing instrument. Cherished 80s Japanese construction topped with a beautifully worn in and sound Maple neck.
Body: Basswood, double bound, in Candy Apple Red finish.
Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.62” nut width, 21 frets, black dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Fender single coil pickups, Kluson Deluxe tuning keys,ashtray bridge, knurled flat dome knobs, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has light surface scratches on the body and light dings/dents. The back of the neck has a repaired light crack that does not affect playability, and is stable, and the frets show some wear (pictured). The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Modifications: 1966 Fender Telecaster neck, 1989 MIJ body, bridge, pickups, hardware.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
