Summary: This 1969 Martin N-20 is a stellar example of function and craftsmanship. This N-20, the same model and year as Willie Nelson’s famous Trigger, is built of rosewood body and neck with a sitka spruce top and an ebony fretboard.

Body: Sitka Spruce top with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides with a gloss finish.

Neck: Mahogany with a Ebony fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.98” nut width,19-fret ebony short-scale fingerboard, 12 frets clear of body.

Hardware: Side mount classical-style tuners, Ebony bridge.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent shape. It has light surface scratches and finish cracks on the top. The back of the neck is great with a few very slight indentations and the frets show minimal wear. The face of the headstock has a small amount of wear around the edges. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
