Summary: This 1981 Ibanez Artist AS200 features a semi-hollow, double cutaway body design with a flamed maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on flamed maple back and sides. A hard rock maple center block mated to a set-in mahogany neck, with a 22-fret ebony bound fingerboard and lovely pearl and abalone split block position markers. 

 

Body:  Laminated maple top, back and sides in Antique Sunburst.


Neck:  Mahogany with a Ebony fingerboard,  25.5” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 22 frets, pearl/abalone block pearl inlays.

 

Pickups/Hardware: Ibanez Super 58 humbucker pickups, tri-tone switch, Ibanez Velvetune tuning keys, Tune-o-matic style ST bridge, Sure Grip knobs, bone and brass nut.

 

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and small indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. There are some dings in the headstock. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.



Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
