1989 Burny Super Grade Les Paul Copy RLG-50
Summary: This Burny Super Grade Les Paul is a Japanese made copy from the 80’s. These are highly regarded for their excellent build quality. PAF style tones and close replication to the famed 50’s Les Pauls. This Burny has Seymour Duncan humbuckers and was just setup and restrung with a new set of 10-gauge strings. It is a fantastic player and ships in an aftermarket case.
Body: Mahogany Les Paul body with a maple cap.
Neck: Mahogany neck with a fully bound rosewood fingerboard. 22 frets, pearloid trapezoidal inlays, 24.5” scale length and 1.6875” nut width.
Pickups/Hardware: This guitar has two Seymour Duncan humbuckers, a three-way toggle, and two volume and two tone knobs. It has keystone style tuning keys.
Cosmetics: This guitar has an odd pattern in the finish on the headstock face (See Photos Please). It looks like the layer of gloss is lifting but it is still fully intact. The body has light surface scratches throughout and a small amount of buckle rash on the back. The back of the neck is in great shape and the frets still have a ton of life left in them.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
Modifications: Upgraded with Seymour Duncan humbuckers.
Weight: 9.605 lbs.
Case: This guitar ships in a hard-shell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
