1995 Fender Stratocaster ST-62 MIJ
Summary: This 1995 Fender Stratocaster ST-62, made in Japan, and its siblings of the early Fender Japan era, have become some of the most sought-after instruments from Fender, period. The ST-62 is a reissue of a 1962 Stratocaster with vintage style tuning keys, a 3-ply tortoise pickguard, and three vintage style single coil pickups.
Body: Alder in Sunburst finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.65” nut width, 21 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Fender USA pickups, Fender vintage tuning keys, vintage style bridge, white plastic knobs, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body, dents and chips, some real honest wear and real relicing. This instrument has been rewired, and routed for a humbucker in the bridge. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Modifications: Missing back plate, routed for humbucker, rewired electronics, new pickguard.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
