Summary: This 1996 Fender Eric Clapton “Blackie” Stratocaster, based on Eric’s mid-1950s Fender Stratocaster guitar, pieced together by Clapton himself from numerous individual guitars, was his main instrument throughout the ’70s and ’80s.

Body: Alder in Black finish.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, medium V shape, 25.5” scale length,” nut width, 9.5 radius, 21 frets, black dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Vintage Noiseless single-coil pickups, 5-way blade pickup selector switch, master TBX tone control, master active mid boost control,



Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent shape. It has light surface scratches and small indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
