This 2000 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster '60 Relic, built by master builder John Cruz, is a Strat lovers Strat. Resplendent with examples of prized golden era Stratocaster appointments, the combination of those quintessential pre-CBS specs make this singular ‘60 Stratocaster a jewel in Leo’s crown.


 Body: Alder in relic’d Sunburst finish.


Neck:  Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.65” nut width, 21 frets, pearl dot inlays.


 Pickups/Hardware: Fender Custom Shop single coil pickups, vintage style tuning keys, vintage style synchronized tremolo bridge, aged plastic knobs, bone nut.


 Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches, crazing/checking, scuffs befitting a masterfully factory relic’d guitar. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.


Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
