2004 Fender 50th Anniversary American Deluxe Stratocaster
Summary: Produced for the 50th anniversary of the birth of the original Stratocaster in 1954, the 50th Anniversary American Deluxe Stratocaster featured the pinnacle of modern guitar innovation, including three Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Strat pickups, S-1 switching, modern "C" neck shape, 2-point synchronized tremolo with a pop-in arm, staggered locking tuning machines, and a commemorative 50th anniversary hard-shell case.
Body: Select Alder with a polyurethane 2-tone sunburst finish.
Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.6875” nut width, 9.5” radius, 22 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Three SCN Noiseless single pickups, Master Volume (with S-1 Switch), Tone 1. (Neck Pickup), Tone 2. Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It does have a few very small dings and chips in the finish (See Photos Please). The back of the neck has a small ding near the 3rd fret. The frets show some wear but still have a lot of life left. The pickguard has regular wear. This guitar has been played but well cared for.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
