2005 Martin Custom Shop 0-12
Summary: Every aspect of the Martin Custom Shop 0-12 acoustic guitar is truly custom. The woods for this gorgeous instrument were hand chosen by the luthiers in Martin's Custom Shop factory. The mahogany neck, topped with ebony, sports a neck shape that is unique to this run of guitars. And don't forget the sunburst finish, European spruce binding, and the minimal fretboard inlays. Body: All Mahogany finished in a dark brown sunburst.
Neck: Mahogany with an Ebony fingerboard, 24,9” scale length, 1.75” nut width,
Pickups/Hardware: Classical style Grover open gear tuning keys, Ebony bridge, bone saddle/nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar has light surface scratches on the top of the body from pick wear. The back of the neck is clean and smooth, and the frets are in great shape. There is light wear on the back of the body on an edge that has almost polished the satin finish from the players shirt. There are a few very light scuffs on the headstock (See Photos Please). Overall, this guitar is in excellent condition, plays very well, and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 12s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
