2006 Fender American Deluxe Telecaster
Summary: The American Deluxe Telecaster guitar is the top-of-the-line American made Tele guitar for players looking for an alder body guitar with more modern appointments. This guitar features the S-1 switching system, two Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Tele pickups and a modern chromed stainless steel Tele bridge with chrome-plated solid brass saddles. The Deluxe Tele also has a bound alder body, a modern "C"-shape maple neck with satin polyurethane finish and comes with a rosewood fingerboard, abalone inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets.
Body: Alder with a Montego Black (light sparkle) finish, white binding on the top.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.685” nut width, 9.5” radius, 22 frets, abalone inlays, bone nut.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Samarium Cobalt noiseless pickups, Fender tuning keys, Master Volume (with S-1 Switch) Master No-Load Tone controls/3-way pickup selector, pearl pickguard (changed).
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches throughout and a few small indentations and cracks in the finish on the back of the body. The back of the neck has a couple very small lines that are indentations. The frets show noticeable wear, more so on the first few frets.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
Modifications: The pickguard has been changed.
