2003 Fender American Standard Telecaster HH
Summary: Produced from 2003-2005 as part of the American Series, the American Telecaster HH features a modern "C" shaped neck with 22 medium jumbo frets, Fender-branded Schaller tuning machines with staggered post heights for better string tension, an updated strings-through-body bridge with stainless steel saddles, and a pair of Atomic II humbucking pickups.
Body: Alder with a gloss black finish.
Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.650” nut width, 22 frets, black dot inlays, bone nut.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Atomic II humbuckers, Schaller tuning keys, string through body bridge with stainless steel saddles, master volume/master tone controls/3-way pickup selector.
Cosmetics: This guitar has light surface scratches throughout and a few chips in the finish (See Photos Please). There is pick wear on the top of the body. The back of the neck has some finish checking on the skunk stripe but still very comfortable. The frets are in good shape, but they have some of the lacquer on the frets in random places, this does not affect playability. Overall, this guitar has some cosmetic issues, but it plays and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
Weight: 8.340 lbs.
Case: This guitar ships without a case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
