2010 Fender Custom Shop 1955 Relic Active Stratocaster
Summary: Taking you back to the Strat's original era, this Fender Custom Shop 1955 Relic Stratocaster solid body electric guitar gives you the unmistakable tone and hard-fought wear and tear of a vintage instrument. Featuring a lightweight ash body, a trio of Noiseless (without the logo) single-coil pickups, a single-ply 8-hole pickguard, and 5-way switching, this remarkable solid body electric guitar provides you with loads of legendary tone, along with the modern versatility you demand. This Strat includes some finer details such as a rock-solid American Vintage synchronized trem, American Vintage tuning machines, and a Clapton style electronics. This Fender Custom Shop 1955 Relic Stratocaster is a truly stunning solid body electric guitar.
Body: Ash with nitro 2-tone Sunburst finish.
Neck: Maple with a Male fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.650” nut width, 21 frets, Micarta black dot inlays, ’54 soft “V” profile, 9.5” radius.
Pickups/Hardware: Three Noiseless single coil pickups (no Noiseless logo), active Clapton style electronics, Closet Classic hardware, 5-way pickup selector, round string tree, vintage style tuning keys, medium jumbo frets.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. It has been relic’d to look and feel like a Strat from the ‘50s. This includes wear on the fingerboard and the back of the neck along with various nicks, dings, and scuffs on the body.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
