Summary: This 2001 Fender "Tele-bration" 60th Anniversary Lamboo LTD Telecaster On its 1951 introduction, the Telecaster was a revolutionary instrument that would usher in whole new eras of musical innovation and excitement. Sixty years later, in 2011, it is an archetypal electric guitar with a long and storied history. The rich history of Fender guitars begins with the Telecaster, and they celebrated its 60th anniversary with 12 very special "Tele-bration" models that stay inside the Telecaster's famously elegant lines while offering the finest and most unusual takes on the instrument's past, present and future.

On the modern green/sustainability front, this most unusual Telecaster model features a maple neck and laminated bamboo (Lamboo) top, with striking tortoise shell binding and pickguard.

Body: Lamboo Top and Back over Alder Body Core with Gloss Lacquer.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.68 ” nut width, 22 frets, black dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Tone Hatch Pickups, Deluxe Staggered Cast/Sealed tuning keys, 3-Saddle Vintage-Style Strings-Through-Body Tele with Brass Barrel Saddles bridge, Knurled Flat-Top knobs, Master Volume, Greasebucket Tone Circuit (Rolls Off Highs without Adding Bass), Synthetic Bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent shape. It has light surface scratches and small indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
