Summary: The Fender American Vintage '65 Jazzmaster's sonically balanced alder body works in concert with its vintage-wound single-coil pickups to deliver the short sustain and warm piano-like tone that has made this classic solid body electric guitar a favorite of surf musicians and indie rockers alike. The Jazzmaster's versatile tone switching is here, including the intricate thumbwheel controls and slide switch. The bound Rosewood fingerboard has pearl dot inlays and is very comfortable. Some vintage appointments include a matching painted headstock, vintage style tuning keys, aged plastic knobs, and switch tips.

Body: Alder with an Olympic White gloss lacquer finish.

Neck: Maple with a bound Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.650” nut width, 7.25” radius, 21 frets, “C” shape, pearl dot inlays.

Cosmetics: This guitar has some noticeable wear on the body (See Photos Please). There are some dings and dents in the finish on the edge of the body. There is a good bit of finish checking on the body, neck, and headstock. The headstock has light wear around the edges. The back of the neck is in great shape and the frets show minimal wear. The pickguard shows regular wear. Overall, this guitar has a few small cosmetic issues, but it plays and feels great, and it sounds amazing.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
