2017 Fender American Special Telecaster

This 2017 Fender American Special Telecaster, a combination of timeless Fender style and contemporary features, delivers traditional Tele design with some extra elements for modern tone and performance, including dual Texas Special pickups and special circuitry, modern neck profile and fingerboard radius, and more. 

Body:  Alder in Sherwood Green Metallic finish. 

Neck:  Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length,  1.68” nut width,  22 frets,  white dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Fender Custom Shop Texas special single-coil Tele pickups,standard cast/sealed  tuning keys, 3-saddle vintage-style strings-through-body Tele bridge with brass barrel saddles, chrome knurled dome knobs,  synthetic bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
