2017 Gibson Firebird T
Summary: Bringing together features like a layered mahogany neck-through-body design, thick rosewood fretboard and slim taper neck, and a pair of iconic mini humbuckers, this 2017 Gibson Firebird T in Pelham Blue summons the majesty of the original offset. Gibson's Firebird is a modern update of the original Gibson model. The mini humbuckers give you the bright, bell-like jangle of single-coils, with the midrange complexity and punch you more associate with humbuckers.
Body: Mahogany with a gloss Pelham Blue finish.
Neck: Mahogany and Walnut with a bound Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, 12” radius, SlimTaper neck profile, pearl trapezoid inlays, 22 frets.
Pickups/Hardware: Two mini humbuckers, Steinberger gearless tuning keys, tunomatic bridge/stop bar tailpiece, 2x volume/2x tone controls/3-way pickup selector, white pickguard with Firebird logo.
Cosmetics: This guitar shows little signs of use and plays and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
