2017 Suhr Modern
Summary: This Modern features a Roasted Maple neck with a 3A Roasted Birdseye Maple fingerboard. This Modern has specifications including the sleek elliptical neck profile, balanced asymmetrical 2-piece White Limba body, innovative neck heel and a stunning 2-piece Angel Quilt Maple top finished in an Aqua Blue Burst. The Suhr locking tuners and the Gotoh 510 tremolo provides superior tuning stability.
Body: 2-piece White Limba with a 2-piece 3/16” Angel Quilt Maple top finished in a gloss Aqua Blue Burst.
Neck: Roasted Maple with a 3A Roasted Birdseye Maple fingerboard, 1.650” nut width, white tusq nut, 10”-14” radius/standard roll, 24 stainless steel/heavy frets, matching Aqua Blue Burst headstock, satin finish, Modern Elliptical shape (.800-.850), Abalone face dots/side dots.
Pickups/Hardware: Pickups: SSV (Neck)/V60LP (Middle)/SSH Plus (Bridge), five-way blade pickup selector, master volume/master tone controls, chrome knobs, Gotoh 510 bridge (2-post/solid saddles/steel block/recessed/chrome), Suhr locking tuning keys.
Cosmetics: This guitar shows very little signs of use. There are very light surface scratches where a pickguard would normally be. The back plastic plate has very light surface scratches. The back of the neck is clean and the frets show almost no signs of use. Overall, this guitar is in amazing condition and plays fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10’s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
