This 2018 Martin OOO-28EC Eric Clapton model boasts solid East Indian Rosewood construction matched with an Ebony fingerboard. The 000-28 Eric Clapton Signature Model has a rich, complex sound with plenty of overtones. The exquisite appointments like fine herringbone inlays for vintage-inspired tone and aesthetics, pre-war Style 28 inlays balance beauty while the compensated bone saddles provide exceptionally stable tuning and intonation. It  projects out into a room, with rich, complex midrange and a bright, clear treble register that’s remarkably detailed but never strident.

Body: Sitka Spruce top with Indian Rosewood back and sides in gloss finish.

Neck: Mahogany with a Ebony fingerboard, 24.9” scale length, 1.75” nut width, 20 frets, Diamond and Squares Long Pattern with Eric Clapton Signature pearl inlays.

Hardware: Grover Statite 18:1 tuning keys, Ebony bridge, bone nut and saddle, L.R. Baggs Anthem installed.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show some wear. The back has light buckle rash. It has had a crack near the headstock, not a break, that was professionally repaired and is very stable. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
