Summary: This 2018 Nash S-63, with its instantaneously recognizable body shape, extremely stable tremolo, and three single coil pickups, is not only classic but versatile as well. While paying homage to the near perfect original design, Nash has incorporated a few changes to update both playability and sound. The S-63s have added a higher output bridge pickup and a much needed tone control. Together, these modifications provide enhanced flexibility and overall balance.





Body:  Alder in three tone Sunburst relic’d finish.




Neck:  Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard,  25.5” scale length,  1.65” nut width, 21 frets,  pearl dot inlays.


 


Pickups/Hardware: Lollar Handwound single coils pickups, Gotoh Vintage tuning keys, Vintage Gotoh Tremolo bridge, aged plastic knobs, Tusq nut.


 


Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body, but has been fully relic’d by Nash. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.





Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
