2020 Fender American Original Thin Skin Telecaster

Summary: This 2020 Fender American Original Thin Skin Telecaster features a re-imagined, best-of-the-decade version of a Telecaster, updated for modern playability, but retaining  the vintage feel. Fender coats this model with an extremely thin layer of nitrocellulose lacquer to allow for the guitar to resonate and breathe more freely. 

Body: Ash in thin Blonde finish.

Neck: Roasted Maple with a Maple fingerboard,  25.5 ” scale length, 1.65 ” nut width, 21 frets,  black dots inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Fender single coil pickups, Fender tuning keys,  3-Saddle Vintage-Style Strings-Through-Body Tele with Brass Barrel Saddles bridge, Knurled Dome knobs, bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has very light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has ultra light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
