2020 Fender Custom Shop WW10 Wildwood '62 Reissue Telecaster
Summary: This Telecaster is only 6 lbs 6.5 oz and was built in 2020 in the Fender Custom shop to Wildwood Guitars specifications. It has hand wound Josephina WW10 pickups, highly figured ash body with heavy relic and comes with the original hardshell case, COA and case candy. Our in-house guitar tech has just set this guitar up with a new set of 10s and it plays and sounds amazing.
Body: It has an ash body with heavy reliced sunburst finish, white top and back binding and 3 ply mint guard.
Neck: It has a 60s style oval C maple neck with AAA slab board rosewood fingerboard, 10” radius, 1.650” nut width. 0.820” thickness at 1st fret, 0.890” thickness at 12th fret, white dots, end of heel truss rod adjustment and unfinished back of neck.
Pickups/Hardware: It has Wildwood 10 Josephina hand-wound pickups, threaded steel saddles, lightly aged hardware, 3-toggle, volume, tone and safety post tuners.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in immaculate shape just as it left the factory with lots of heavy relicing all over the body and back of neck. There is finish checking all over the body, wear through the arm rest and sides, tons of buckle rash and wear on the back of the neck.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
