2020 Fender Mod Shop Stratocaster
Summary: Fender’s Mod Shop gives guitar players a chance to build a guitar to the specifications of their choice. This Stratocaster from the Mod Shop has a Mahogany body with a Crimson Red Transparent finish. The neck has a deep “C” profile with a black painted headstock. It comes equipped with two Shawbuckers in the neck and bridge positions and a V-Mod single coil pickup in the middle position. Great tuning stability is provided by the Fender locking tuning keys.
Body: Mahogany with a Crimson Red Transparent finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.650” nut width, 22 frets, white dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Shawbucker/One V-Mod single coil/5-way pickup selector, Fender locking tuning keys, 6-saddle hardtail bridge, 3-ply all black pickguard, white plastic parts, master volume/2x tone controls.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of use. The pickguard has regular wear.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
