2021 Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Outfit Limited-Edition
Summary: Made in partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop, the Limited Edition 1959 Les Paul Standard is Epiphone's recreation of the rare vintage classic. Featuring a mahogany body and a maple top with a AAA figured maple veneer, a comfortable 1959 hand-rolled neck profile with long neck tenon, aged finish, Gibson USA BurstBucker 2 & 3 humbucking pickups, Switchcraft selector switch and output jack, CTS pots, 50s era wiring, Mallory capacitors, non-beveled pickguard, new Wilkinson Deluxe vintage tuners, and a vintage-style brown hard case.
Body: Mahogany with a Maple top, AAA figured Maple veneer.
Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.69” nut width, 22 frets, rounded “C” profile, pearl block inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Gibson USA BurstBuckers, Wilkinson Deluxe keystone tuning keys, tunomatic bridge/stop bar tailpiece, cream binding/plastics, 2x volume/2x tone controls/3-way pickup selector, Tusq nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. This guitar has very light surface scratches that can be seen in a reflection.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
